The whole machine body, detection tunnel, conveyor frame and support legs are made of food-grade 304 brushed stainless steel with seamless welding, no sharp edges or hidden gaps where food crumbs, powder or grease can accumulate. The smooth surface supports daily high-pressure water washing and disinfectant spraying, fully complying with HACCP, BRC, FDA and EU food hygiene standards.
Equipped with lockable universal casters and adjustable anti-vibration leveling feet, the detector can be flexibly moved between different production lines and stably fixed on uneven workshop floors, effectively filtering vibration interference from upstream packaging and filling equipment.
Adopting advanced dual-frequency adaptive detection algorithm, the machine can automatically identify and suppress the product effect signal of food materials. It maintains stable and accurate detection for high-moisture cakes, high-salt seasonings and aluminum foil/metallized film packaged snacks, and can effectively identify ferrous, non-ferrous and 304/316 stainless steel metal fragments.
The top of the detection tunnel is designed with a flip-up transparent cover with a handle, so operators can quickly open the tunnel for internal cleaning and daily maintenance without disassembling the whole machine, greatly reducing maintenance downtime.
The side-mounted independent control cabinet is equipped with a 7-inch industrial color touch screen with multi-language support (English, Spanish, French, Russian, etc.). It can store up to 100 sets of product formulas, realizing one-click switching for different food SKUs and greatly shortening line changeover time.
Standard configuration includes three-color tower status indicator, prominent emergency stop button and fault self-diagnosis alarm function. All detection data, including total output, rejection quantity and fault records, can be exported via USB or Ethernet port, providing complete audit data for third-party inspection and retailer supplier audit.
The white food-grade anti-static PU conveyor belt is oil-resistant, wear-resistant and easy to disassemble for deep cleaning, which will not scratch or contaminate food packaging. Adjustable side guide baffles keep products running in the center of the detection tunnel, avoiding detection deviation caused by product offset.
Equipped with a pneumatic push-rod rejection mechanism (blue air pipeline is clearly shown in the photos). When metal contaminants are detected, the push rod smoothly pushes unqualified products into the locked rejection bin without stopping the production line. The thrust is adjustable to avoid damage to fragile biscuit boxes and soft snack bags.
The compact overall structure does not occupy extra workshop space, and can be seamlessly connected with vertical packaging machines, flow wrappers, cartoning machines, checkweighers and X-ray inspection equipment to form a fully automatic quality control line of “metal detection + weight verification + foreign body inspection”.
